The 2011 Rohto Ironman 70.3 Hawaii will take place on the Kohala Coast on the west side of the Island of Hawaii. The Fairmont Orchid Hawaii will host the event.
The race date for 2011 - Saturday, June 4, 2011
The race is composed of the following distances:
Swim - 1.2 miles
Bike - 56 miles
Run - 13.1 miles

Swim course will be CLOSED 1 hour and 15 minutes from start of race.
Bike course will be CLOSED 5 hours and 30 minutes from start of race.
Run course will be CLOSED 8 hours and 30 minutes from start of race.

The bike transition is at Hapuna Beach, the bike course takes athletes out onto the famed Ironman Hawaii route. Exiting Hapuna Beach, riders will travel the Queen Ka'ahumanu Hwy and then onto Akoni Pule Hwy. The turnaround is in the Hawi Town area. The bike finish is at The Fairmont Orchid Hawaii. If you earn a slot to compete at the Ford Ironman World Championship or the Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3 you must claim your slot at the slot at the slot distribution table in the post-race area on Saturday between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. All unclaimed slots by 4:30 p.m. go to roll-down. You will be required at that time to show photo I.D. and pay your entry fee - no exceptions. The Awards Presentation will take place following the race, starting at 4:00 p.m.
If you earn and accept a slot to compete at the Ford Ironman World Championship and later decide you must drop you must contact the Race Office, in writing, within 30 days to let them know you will not be accepting the slot. This slot can be rolled down only during this 30-day period. Slots are not transferable.
There are no Clydesdales or Athena Divisions
There are no relays
No Disc Wheels allowed.
You must be 18 years of age or older on race day to enter.
