The following slots will be allocated to the top age group finishers at the 2010 Rohto Ironman 70.3 Hawaii.
2010 Ford Ironman World Championship, in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii (October 9, 2010)
2010 Foster Grant Ironman World Championship 70.3, in Clearwater, Florida (November, 2010)
Note: The final slot allocation will be determined on race day based on the number of official starters.
You are required to claim your slot in person at the Slot Distribution tent in the post race area (Honu (Turtle) Point) on Saturday (Race Day – June 5th, 2010) from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. (no exceptions).
All unclaimed slots will be rolled down to the next eligible finishers immediately following the awards presentation starting at 4:00 p.m. (pending results).
Please be prepared to show photo I.D. and pay the $550.00 USD entry fee for Kona or $300.00 USD entry fee for Clearwater with cash, check or credit card (an additional service charge will be added to credit card charges).
If there is an unavoidable circumstance that will prevent you from attending the “roll down”, you must contact the race office prior to race day at (808) 329-0063.
At least one slot shall be allocated to each five-year age-group category in which any age group athlete registers, both male and female, per the age group categories listed below. If there are no athletes entered in the race in a particular age group, then that slot will be moved to the largest populated age group in that same gender. For additional age group slots, slot allocation shall be representative of the actual number of age grouper applicants in each category in the race. As an example, if 8% of the age group applicants are females 40-44, then 8% of these slots would be allocated in the female 40-44 category.
